Our home by the sea in Kapparis, Protaras, ready for yours.
The Residence
Our place sits inside the quiet Blue Electra complex, just off Kennedy Avenue. It’s a bright 80 m² apartment that we set up for easy coastal living. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second has two singles (one pulls out to an extra bed), so there’s room for five, plus a crib if you’re travelling with a baby. We spend most of our time out on the veranda, which has a comfy sofa and a table for eating outside, and there’s a small balcony too. The communal pool is right by the building, but it is currently closed for renovation until around July 2026 (estimated). We have an arrangement with the hotel next door: guests can use their pool free of charge, provided you behave respectfully and follow the hotel’s terms and conditions. We happily welcome couples and families — it works beautifully for both — but the flat is not intended for parties or groups of friends.

Our Story
We named it after the beach we love best, Fireman’s Beach, the little cove just down the road. Ember for fire, Tidefor the sea. The two of them sit together here in a way we never get tired of: the warmth of the cliffs and the cool of the Mediterranean, a Cypriot sunset settling into the sound of the waves. The name really came from this stretch of coast, and from how much time we’ve spent on it.

The Coastline
From a hidden cove under the cliffs to some of the most famous bays in the Med, the best beaches on the south-east coast are all close by.
8-minute walkA sheltered cove tucked under white limestone cliffs. Golden sand, calm Blue Flag water and a little bar up on the cliff. It's the neighbourhood's best-kept secret, and the beach that gave us our name.
15-minute strollA small, pretty sandy bay with shallow, clear water. Lifeguards, sunbeds and a laid-back beach café make it a long-time family favourite.
5-minute driveA wide stretch of soft Blue Flag sand with gently shelving water and a bit of watersports. Big enough that you can always find a quiet corner.
10-minute driveOne of the most famous bays in the Med, with turquoise shallows, fine golden sand and a lively row of cafés and tavernas.
20-minute driveThe island's iconic stretch of white sand and bright blue sea, with plenty of beach bars when you fancy something livelier.
