Ember & Tide

Our home by the sea in Kapparis, Protaras, ready for yours.

The Residence

A quiet two-bedroom apartment

Our place sits inside the quiet Blue Electra complex, just off Kennedy Avenue. It’s a bright 80 m² apartment that we set up for easy coastal living. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second has two singles (one pulls out to an extra bed), so there’s room for five, plus a crib if you’re travelling with a baby. We spend most of our time out on the veranda, which has a comfy sofa and a table for eating outside, and there’s a small balcony too. The communal pool is right by the building, but it is currently closed for renovation until around July 2026 (estimated). We have an arrangement with the hotel next door: guests can use their pool free of charge, provided you behave respectfully and follow the hotel’s terms and conditions. We happily welcome couples and families — it works beautifully for both — but the flat is not intended for parties or groups of friends.

Our Story

Why “Ember & Tide”

We named it after the beach we love best, Fireman’s Beach, the little cove just down the road. Ember for fire, Tidefor the sea. The two of them sit together here in a way we never get tired of: the warmth of the cliffs and the cool of the Mediterranean, a Cypriot sunset settling into the sound of the waves. The name really came from this stretch of coast, and from how much time we’ve spent on it.
